NEO GEO MVS SAVE/HIGH SCORE QUESTION?

Hi there. I was wondering.... I have a MV-4F and I love it. (see pics in my profile) I just have a question about High Score saving. I thought the MVS has an internal battery or something that saved high score data for games. Is this true? I've noticed any high score I post, its gone whenever I shut off the Arcade. Is there anyway to save high scores? Is it just a simple battery replacement? Any suggestions or thoughts would be great Thanks,

Battery needs charged. Let your cab run for 24 hours or so to get it charged up again or just swap out the old battery ( just search back for the battery mod threads).

If your battery doesn't hold a charge then you'll want to replace it before it starts leaking.

I tested it again, and it does hold the scores now. I guess I just needed to charge it long enough. I also have a battery replacement kit I got from jammaxnation and I might install that if I get trouble in the near future.
