Super gun system question

If I have a super gun system, can I automatically play mvs carts or do I need something extra like an mvs converter orsomething like that?

You'll need a MVS motherboard for the carts to plug into. They come in 1,2,4 and 6 slot flavours.

You also might need to make some mods to get the 'D' button to work with the Super Gun.

Let me point out that 2 of the pre-made super guns (The MAS Systems Super nova and GW Trading's unit) work with D button without any mods.

And don't forget, If you get one of the 1- or 2-slot Neo Geo MVS boards that have the onboard joystick ports, you can use regular Neo Geo home sticks with your SuperNOVA or HGA system right out of the box!!

However, think about this: I just got a 2-slot Neo dedicated cabinet at an auction for $425, in great shape. If you have the space (and in this case I would say, MAKE THE SPACE, GET YOUR PRIORITIES STRAIGHT), you should aim for a full-blown cab . . . definitely the way to go!! Mike is right. GW's HGA is garbage. The Nova blows it away. I have both now and the and the Nova is easily the better of the two. I'm going to put the HGA up on ebay soon.

Yeah! I actually already know about mass systems. My mom already is friends with one of the owners. They call up each other and she might see my mom if she goes to New Orleans. I just wanted to compare prices with GW Trading. Thanks anyway, Mike.
