So...

The reason I ask is that I all ready have several candy cabs with 90's and newer boards, but I really want to have an "80's machine" with trackball support. My dilema is 1) I don't like the idea of an american cocktail or upright mixed in with my candies and 2) would hate to hack/bastardize a candy panel to accept a trackball if that's not kosher.

I've seen in person plenty of galaga, ms pac-man, etc Sega Astro Cities in arcades in Japan, but never any trackball games...

Thoughts?

Thx!

Looks like it's time to buy an Aero City/Aero Table!

There's a trackball panel for the Astro, but I don't think it's easy to come by. I'm sure it will pop up again on Yahoo Japan auctions sometime.

It's just like you said with the Astro panel: They're on Yahoo, and they're not easy to come by. I actual stole the image from an auction that ended not long ago.

I hadn't seen the Astro panel until now. Pretty sweet looking. Is it yours?

Awesome!!!

This is exactly the sort of info I was looking for... Is that a button or joystick cover on the aero panel? Hell, anyone actually ever do an official joystick + trackball panel?

Thx guys!

Link?

I had one like that. I wonder...

Maybe they're more common than I know - but mine had similar/same wiring. I sold it with a SegaSonic PCB years ago.
