I recently accepted the position of "MVS Price Guide Analyst" offered by Shawn.

This is a large responsibility, and I'm very happy Shawn offered to let me handle such a task.

This guide will remain unbiased in every way.

I will have another update shortly, and in the next month or so I will be adding a "Full Kit" guide as well.

We've needed one of those for a while now.

I also welcome any comments and suggestions you may have.

If you feel that a price is off, let me know!

And if you have sold any kits recently, send me a list of what they sold for.

I have been working on a rough draft of kit prices, so any contributions will help.

Again, many thanks to Shawn for offering me this position.

And I look forward to hearing from all of you!

- Mike

Awww man, could have used an update a month ago when I sold a bot load of MVS carts. :(

Kit pricing sounds like a great idea, as long as TonK prices everything I own as high and everything I haven't picked up yet as low. ;)

Yeah, kind of afraid the market will dry up until the update is done, with people waiting hoping for higher prices.

Shoulda said it earlier... congrats, the full kit pricing will be interesting.

What a huge improvement. Well done.

Having just browsed the list, only two stuck out at all.
- Super Dodgeball seems a little on the high side for cart only. Not a huge difference though. $75-$110 seems more fitting.

- Blazing Star definitely seems low. I don't recall seeing a cart sell for $25 on the boards, and I would think they would sell all day at $55. I would think $50-$70 would be more fitting.

Everything else looks excellent. I just wanted to throw my two cents your way. Keep up the great work. It's much appreciated.

There are some other prices I'm researching as well... I do need some minor tweaking here and there.

Then I can concentrate on the kits.

Like i said - if you have sold a kit recently, let me know how much.

Is this being based just on US/Europe sales? I could help with Yahoo Japan, and the few real brick+mortar stores MVS prices if you're interested.

Irritating Maze might need a little more info. Not sure who'd want to buy a loose cart w/o the trackball.

If you have a unibios 2.3 or newer you don't need a trackball to play it.

Good job Tonk. Everything looks good so far.

Well, at least the MVS section will be updated...

AES section lists Twinkle Star Sprites as being high $700. Twinkle Star is low $900, these days.
