I have noticed a small adjustment screw inside my neogeo pocket color, right behind where the battery cover snaps in. Any idea what it does?

I think it's for adjusting contrast, but I'm not too sure. I'm afraid to try it...

If I remember right, that is a calibration knob for the display that changes either the voltage or the hz on it.

Probably wrong though.

Well thats a better guess than I have. :)

Also while we are on the subject of hardware I was wondering if all the NGPC's have white noise when headphones are plugged in, even with the volume all the way down.

I finally tried it and it is a contrast adjust for the screen. It made a tremendous amount of difference for me and my screen now looks better than ever.

Nice, just learned something new. I'll have to 'screw' with it when I install my GBA front light on mine ngp.

I really want to do that mod as well!
It'd really bring a new lease of life to the NGPC
