I want to get a Neo Candy, but it's gotta be able to play MVS and JAMMA, and have 6 buttons. Any help/suggestions??

Another question for you Candy experts, does anyone own a Sega New Astro City? The reason I ask is I want to buy this: http://www.jammaboards.com/store/capcom-cps-ii-18-in-1-multigame-jamma-pcb/prod_292.html

I was thinking of installing it in a Sega New Astro City Cabinet (someone had one for sale), but I guess the power supply is in an odd position, which makes installing JAMMA boards somewhat difficult. Does anyone know if this board will fit or not? I am contacting the company who makes it now.

According to the guy who reviewed the Sega NAC cab, if someone had a MVS Jamma it would be difficult to install, is this true? Here is the link with the review: http://home.insightbb.com/~ecousticforkris/newastro.htm

Please help me out here! I have an oppurtunity to buy a Sega NAC, but if it is going to be too much of a hassle to install the Jamma I want, I need to find an alternative and would LOVE to hear suggestions thanks!

should search the site.... pretty much all of these questions have been addressed. However, yes that 18 in 1 will fit... dont worry about that.

I didnt read the link about the MVS board, but a 1 slot board will work fine in any cabinet without having to change the speaker wiring or any of that.

Thanks for letting me know. Anyone prefer the Egret II over the Astro City?

kind of depends on what makes more sense for you. Egret 2 is (in my opinion) a nicer cabinet and gives you the option to easily rotate the monitor for vertical games. However an Egret 2 will cost you twice as much as an Astro City will and parts are a lot harder to find for the E2.

An Astro city can also be rotated but with a little more effort involved... they are however much cheaper and parts are readily available for them.

It all boils down to what makes sense for you, the buyer though.

I dont know how much I will be rotating the monitor, I mainly play fighting/beat em up games. Do MVS shooting games require the monitor to be vertical?
