Since the release of this game as of today on XBLA and August 12th for PSN. There should be some people who want in on the Marvel Madness!

i´m beginning to the understand why i never got into this game. its way to fast for me!!!! cant follow the action at all!!! i´ll keep practice offline tough...
Didn't know also that this plays more like a "Smash Brawl" than a "Street Fighter".

That's the first impression I got when I downloaded and played it. I thought it was way too fuckin fast! I don't want to be a loser in thinking that but I was starting to remember why it was a lot of button mashing. I'll keep giving it a try though of course.

I would think so as well. Most of the fighting game community has been waiting for the online release for this game.

That's one of the funnier, if most-misguided things I've ever read on this forum.
Utterly different crowds of people play MvC2, man. As in, they've been playing that shit ever since and didn't really bother with any of the fighting games since. If you think that crowd dwarfs the audience for SFIV...I'm sorry, you don't know the scene very well.

Seconded. Apples and oranges, man. Generally, the people that like MvC2 don't like SF4 and vice versa. SF4 has legs...it's not dropping off anytime soon. Aren't there rumors of a "Champ Ed" SF4 being revealed at TGS?

I like both games SFIV and MvC2 a lot. For some reason I'm not growing very well with SFIV, I find myself lacking quite a bit, but in all honesty I did stop playing it for a while. I should get back in full force. MvC2 is a game that I like but I preffer the previous iterations 'cause I'm not a big fan of the "auto combo" feature, still the game is fantastic and it plays great in XBL, I haven't played the PSN ver. yet.

I'm in for good games the tag is electricgrave in both networks.

Heyhey my friend. I figured that was all given. I didn't say the marvel scene was was larger than sf4, I didn't really comment on any scene at all. Maybe you are trying to read something that isn't there. I played Sf4 a fair bit before this release and its done nothing but sit on a shelf since. Sorry to hurt your feelings.

oh and a "champ ed" would be cool.

Same thing happened to my SFIV, it just sat there on a shelf while HDRemix came back to the fold. I'll give loopz this; SFIV is awsome and what I find even more impressive is that Capcom did such a great job that this game is appealing to a large number of people, even if you don't know anything about SF you could like this game. MvC2 is not like that at all, let's be honest though, a lot of gamers don't like MvC2 'cause they simply can't handle it, same reason a lot of folks don't like KOFXI or Guilty Gear XXAC+.

I also would love to see a champ ed with Dee Jay, if he comes along I'd jump back on SFIV like a lightning bolt man!
