i picked up a copy of bust-a-move again on ebay recently. there are two things that i think are issues...hoping someone can confirm...
1) i noticed that i am unable to pause the game. is pausing not an option in this game?
2) there is no music or sound in the intro at all. based on a video i saw on youtube, there should be. but once the game is started, the sound/music is fine.

the game is definitely not a boot. i opened it up and checked it out. i am playing it on my aes with a super mvs converter (blue light version). help!

1) It had no AES release, not sure if it's supposed to have pause
2) Make sure you have demo sound turned on. I have some 100 authentic games that always have demo sound on, and some that always have it off, regardless of bios settings.

If you are sure the cart is legit, just be happy. Whatever will be, will be. :)

No pause should be there since there was no AES release. No sound on the intro is most likely from running it in AES mode.

yes, definitely related to aes mode. i just tried the game on an mv-1c that i am working on. the intro had sound this time, so the game is fine! thanks for the replies.
