Right-o. I have the Astro all wired up to the best ability.... it has a mahjong panel. Mahjong panel and adaptors have been unplugged btw! Hence the big mess shown. Also, apologies at the photos, some are fuzzy because they were incredibly awkward to photo and some are odd angles as I didn't rotate the images.

On the second photo, I have plugged the speakers in. So far the only signs of life are the marquee lights up. There is a stepdown built into the cab and the original PSU is outputting roughly 108 according to my multimeter. Other than that, no other signs of life. There is a good chance the monitor is buggared but I'm not sure as to how to test it - so any suggestions would be great!

Here's the pics... if anyone can point out any mistakes in my wiring then please let me know!

A reveresed-plugged adaptor could have easily taken out the board if it was powered up in that position. If you suspect the monitor, check to see if the back of it glows when power is turned on. Also if you think the game board is still good, try and credit it up and see if you can still hear the game. If you can and there's no pic, the prob could be in your monitor.

Thanks Arcademan for the advice! Much appreciated! So you say the jamma board is actually plugged in the wrong way around?

Can anyone confirm that I have connected the monitor properly?

Just to clarify - in this photo, the 3 plugs - I plugged the one at the forefront into the monitor's side socket and the remaining 2 into each other - is that correct?
