I traded someone for a puzzle bobble a few weeks ago.
My problem is that every once in a while I will be playing, and the game will freak out and reset to the boot screen.
None of my other games have ever done this.
This is on my 4-slot dedicated MVS cab.

Is this common?
I opened up the cart and there is a smaller circuit board (about 2in x 2in) were some chips should be? Is this common?
The soldering looks neat like it was done by a machine.

My final and most important question:
It only resets sometimes. Is it OK to play this game or will it damage my motherboard? help help

What does the 5 volt rail voltage measure at the mvs edge connector. Between pin 1 & 3 ?

I had this happen with a few carts before.

Mostly I remember this happening with Puzzle De Pon (original cart)in my 4 slot.
I didn't clean the cart connectors well enough.

My wife started to play this game the day I got it and and after she was well into the game it popped out and reset to the boot screen.
And again after changing the game to another slot.
(I was freaking out)
I felt embarrassed because most of my stuff always works.(I take care of my stuff)(I'm anal)
I had cleaned the cart but I didn't open it to clean it.
So I decided to clean the 4 slots prongs and this cart by opening it up.
Now I never have any problems like that.

Can you post pictures of that Puzzle Bobble.(board)

Puzzle Bobble is one of the most bootlegged game.
I just got one myself 90% it's a boot,but it works perfectly.

Mine is so bad it makes those boots look authentic.
I will try to post some pics if I can.

So if I crank up my Power supply a little it may remedy this?
