Hiya,

As maybe some of you remember a few months ago I got myself this cab:

There were some things which I didn't like about it (well nearly the whole lot).

1. The horrible control panel layout! Its been fixed with seimetsus now, complete with a nice neogeo layout, as you can see here:

2. I have also designed and printed on translucent plastic this new marquee:

3. I have replaced the monitor as the one it came with had some screen burn

4. The monitor chassis has been sent for repair, hopefully I get it back soon

5. I have yet to replace the mega old PSU the cab came with (it emits too much magnetic field and buggers the monitor)

6. I have yet to wire up the control panel

7. I may or may not make some more art for stickers to install where the speaker hole is on top and on the white bits beneath the control panel

8. I bought a speaker cover which has yet to be installed

9. Will have to order a nice 25" monitor bezel

More pics as more work is done. Feedback appreciated :)

Looks like a nice project. I made a mame cabinet from a beat up 1982 Burgertime. It was my 1st cabinet, and basically I modified an X-arcade to bolt to the cabinet. It looks OK and works good, but i'm going to do better on my next one. Thats out in the garage stripped and waiting for me to have some cash to do the body work on it. :)

(The Ultimarc balltops have been removed and replaced with HAPP joysticks)
