Do you think this is a good deal for $400 with metal slug 5 and another game? It's already on hold for me to pick up tomorrow but I've been given the option to back out if I want. It's just way to cute and tiny, I can't resist it.

I think thats a fair deal, my brother got one at auction for only a little cheaper than that. The game selections not bad either unless it turns out to be a boot copy. Anyway best of luck to ya.

Asked him a to look for a couple of things on and in the cart and it seems like a legit cart. Other game is KoF97 which happens to be one KoF I dont have. I feel like this will also fit in my jeep grand Cherokee with the seats down.

The Mini Candy cabinet...nice little game. Some may be put off by the tiny 13" monitor but it's a great spacesaver. I have one in my game room that's seen a real rough life as the person we got it off of had stored it outside so it's well worn. He also did some alterations to the control panel overlay and put a 4-slot board in place of the 2-slot but it works good. By the picture of it, $400 with a Slug5 and KoF97 isn't a bad price.

Regardless of the carts you should be checking out the crt monitor, and the 2-slot board itself. Double check for any burn in, and make sure the board is in decent working condition, as these are the most important parts of the cab. Throw an offer around $300-$350 and see if he/she bites. The cab itself looks to be in good shape but any more than $375-$400 is getting a bit high in my opinion. Good luck with your buy.

I wouldn't be worried about the monitor too much... It's easily replaceable...

When buying cabs with monitors in the 25+ range then Monitor quality is very important part of of the decision making process.

lol

yeah its more of a collectors piece than a gamers cabinet.

personally a few eep roms in a neo geo cart wouldn't sway a cabinet sale either way for me.

I'd love to find one around here for a fair price one day. I still miss my old big red cabinet. Wouldn't buy a machine that big again though, no way.

Yeah the mini is awsome as a collectors piece to complement an arcade room, it wouldn't be my first and only choice for MVS but it would defenately be nice to own one. 400 is fine if it's on good working order, MS5 alone is worth over 50.

I woudln't be too quick to pass on this deal.
