I just got a small MVS 1-slot, Magical Drop II, and Puzzle Bobble. In MD2, the warning is "Cuidado," but I swear I've also played the game on other machines where the warning was NOT in Spanish. Is there a master language setting somewhere in the bios, or on a DIP? I lack a manual. Thanks.

Hit the test switch and go into the Soft Dip settings. From there choose Magical Drop 2 and the very last setting should be Language... you should be able to change it to English there. C your way out and hit exit.

Hmmm...thanks for the tip, but I'm afraid I don't have that setting. I have Continue, Difficulty, Demo Sound, Credit Display, Level Display, How to Play, CPU Quota, VS Quota, and VS Count. That's where it ends.

Any ideas? Maybe the language option was left out of some versions or revs?

Actually Bobak's Neo Bomberman is also only Spanish... I didn't even know they made it like that, but I guess they do. Oh well, atleast there is not a lot of text in Magical Drop

Funky. I wouldn't have assumed that MVS carts would be specific to territories. Thanks for the info!
