Is there anybody who does MVS cartridge repair? I have a couple carts that have lines through some of the graphics. Anything I can do with these?

I'd start out by thoroughly cleaning the contacts. if that doesn't help, open them up and check if any pins have bad solder spots (cracked or loose), or any traces are broken. in the latter cases, it's easy to re-solder the pins or bridge the traces with a wire.

I get lines with my carts on my two slot MVS sometimes too. If I keep reinserting the cart the lines go away. (power off of course before removal and reinsertion) <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0">

on my 6 slot mvs

the cartridges are sometimes tricky. I will get lines in my games if i insert them too far into the slot. What i do is i insert the game and then i grasp the bottom of each side of the cartridge, and back it out slightly. This cures it. this system doesnt seem to like cartridges that are bottomed out.
