Hey guys, forced to sell off my MVS stuff before i even got a chance to enjoy it after building my setup. Need to fix up my bikes.

Pics of the 4 slot,memory reader,marquee header and the el panel boards are shown in the 2nd post.. I still have it all installed and i wont remove anything till something sells first.

Original and Rare! Bought NOS! Did i mention rare? Bought it about 2-3 months at most ago.. Took me about 3 hours to get off the original sticky paper off the front. Its been on my setup ever since. This one is a original. Theres remakes out there that have a seperate plexy panel that holds the marquees. That one dont look as good as the marquees are not flush to the header. This one there flush, no gap between the header and the mini marquee. If i had this for my 4 slot MVS "Big Red" 2 years ago, i prob would of never of sold my cab! Would of been too sexy. The one i was stuck with was badly bowed like an open book!

Sound works great. I think that maybe the battery needs changing. Needs a new set of PCB feet as theres none on the corners.

Thought, what the hell... Might as well share my MVS project since no one had any knowledge of it. Take some pics and share before i tear it down. NOTE: Ovbiously i did not finish it. So, i never had the time to finish the paint Once the new baby was born i did what i could to just get it up and runing so i could get it out of the way and finish sometime in the future.

Basicly a counsole/cab.. Space saver with some style. At first it was just going to be the marquee header hung on the wall like a picture.. then ofcourse i had to think of how to make it an all in one unit and took way too much time to build. I'd sell it, but i doubt i could pack it safe and also someone would want to flip the shipping bill hehe.

Most pics now up.. Everything i could get.. all thats left is to tear it down so i can take picks of the 4 slot/memory card reader/el panels and neobits board.

Wifes having a hard time understanding that i'm going to sell this off.. so i figure i'd wait to take to her first.

What output does that have?

Hey man, thanks for the PM. I don't think that will work in my system. I have what looks like a MVS-1-25 that I want to turn into a MVS-4-25 (ver. 1).

I may buy that 4 slot, coin LEDs and marquee light, but I'm hunting down a cheaper 4 slot (sorry, saving some $$$s if I can) and once I get it, I'll be able to test my LEDs and lights to see how they work. My current 1 slot does not allow me to plug them in to see if they work and someone had spilled coke on the control panel, right where the LEDs were and it's rusty as hell all over, so I might need to replace them. Not to mention the memorycard reader and headphone jack PCB board. As for the marquee lights, I have no idea if they work, again, don't have a way to plug them in right now.

It just seems like your sale is at a bad time for me! Good luck though, and if I do find out I need them I'll hit you up for sure.

Hey thanks for the compliment! Only one i got.. must not be a very popular design choice i guess.

I added a few more pics just now of the rig.. Showing the inners. Still yet to dismantle it all. Waitin for someone to bite on the 4 slot first.

Or.. Haul it away for what i paid for the hardware.. well bulk price of $350!

Finish her up with a custom paint job and get some neo geo lettering printed down in size for the sides.

I was thinking of added the Credit LEDS in the back splash. i was going to cut out the credit area on a NOS control panel but thought someone could need it to restore there cab and sold it insted.

Thanks Xian.. Real busy over here. My kids are at my Sister in Laws today and i have to spend the day building the old crib for my 4 month old son.. parts of the crib were used for my daughter bed. So i get to take that apart and install a regular bed frame for hers, take the headboard and footboard and put the crib back together and put it in our room.. Ofcourse theres no room in our room for the crib but somehow i got to figure that out! lol

Gona prob throw my back again as our bed is HUGE and i dont want to know what it weighs. Never been moved before.

The light changes with the game.. So only 1 light will be lit at a time.

And the 4-slot I got from you is still working good.

To paint the front of that like the control panel design would be cool. I bet most would say why not just use a cab, but I think that setup is the bees knees.

Good to hear! Thats why i knew that was a good board as everything that could go wrong with the sound was already repaired.

Yeah i was thinking the same thing with the paint job.. I dont really want to go all black as dust would show.. though i could keep a sheet over it when not in use.

I also was just thinking of putting a basic color on it and take the panels over to someone that would use an airbrush and paint something serious on it hehe.

I had a big red a couple of years ago and this condo "now with 2 kids" there no room for one.

I've had to move my huge MAME cab into my parents basement for storage before the new baby was born.

I think you should paint it white or red.
Match it with either a classic NG, or a candy.
The white could leave it open for some airbrushing later.
