I just received an Eswat board and thought it was System 18 when I bought it. I see Yaton has some adapters on ebay, but it looks different than the one Bill Burger is selling. Burger's has some sort of harness that attaches to it. Anyone know anything about the difference? I am looking for something with decent quality. Can anyone recommend a system 16 adapter that they have used recently and liked?

These generally aren't too fancy. Any of the Akihabara PCB shops will make them for a fee. It's just connecting wire 1 of connector A to wire 1 of connector B. With that said, I wouldn't give it much thought - just buy one that (supposedly) works.

Yaton jamma adapters are actually pretty well made and get the job done.

Thanks for the reply. Sometimes Yaton's stuff gets criticized. Xian Xi told me basically the same thing you did so I went ahead and bought one already.
