Glitchy graphics

Hey guys im getting some glitchy graphics when play SS4 on my CDZ.

Could this just be a issue with a dirty laser. The disk is mint.

What kind of glitchy graphics?

The life bars flicker alot.

And some of the on screen text is messed up. Like Victory isnt clear. 4 of the letters are scrambled.

You can clean the lens but I doubt that's the problem.

What do you think the issue would be then. This is really the first time i've noticed any graphical corruption and only on SS4.

Also proper tips on cleaning the lens and not doing damage.

If it only does it on SS4 then it may be the disc. It's documented that SNK has made a bad pressing for Double Dragon for the NGCD so it's not far fetch thinking that your SS4 is also bad.

If the problems existed on other games too then that would be a different story.


I think there an emulator that lets you play using the discs, try downloading it and playing your disc on your PC, if it has glitches then it is your disc.

I guess I will find out at the end of the week. I gotta do the whole moving thing this week. Totally blows.
