If I'm not mistaken that chap that's selling it, is more than a little ambivalent about it. Some folks here were telling him not to sell it. I myself would scour my basement for a lot of junk before I parted with that.

Someone had lower before - I think it was double digits.

Didn't make any difference when he sold it either.

You want a low serial? Great.

At the end of the day, its just a Neo Geo.

I've had a few pass thru my hands with a lower serial #, so they are out there in circulation. My personal deck is #: 000017.

Also, good luck with your sale MrNeoGeo. I'm sure a collector will nab this up!

#17 is surely a conversation piece when people come over to the house! hehe. Must be nice!

I sold a Modded Neo Geo Gold System about 3-4 years ago for $700 to a fellow member thats from Finland!

The box was'nt that nice as yours.. the handle was gone. The only good side on the box i believe was the bottom. Was awesome though!

I believe i paid $700 for it before the mods.

Ofcourse i wont quote what i sold my original Gold System in box complete with about 5-6 games about 18 years ago! I heard my friend ended up selling it to a pawn shop soon afterwards. :(

GL on that sale! I'm watching it on ebay. :)

I'm Happy it sold for that much, sincerely.

But I tend to agree whomever bought that is honestly swimming at the shallow end of the genetic swimming hole.

Actual Earnings: $477.21

That's with my Gold powerseller status, you may have paid a smidge more.

Still impressive, good for you.

Have no clue why, but this came to mind.

when buying my AES I have been looking for the highest possible serial # just to max the life of the system
Who knows how long they will last....
Actually, I wonder how long an AES system can last if handled decently
