The monitor is a little dim. I adjusted the brightness all the way up. I adjusted the contrast a little... although if you go to far the colors bleed to the right.

My question is... how can I get the monitor brighter w/ more vibrant colors. It is somewhat dull... and hard to see in a lighted room. W/ the lights out.. the colors are a little dull... but you can see the picture decently.

Any tips?

Thanks,

You can try one of the brighteners from Happ - I bought one but decided not to install it. It looks like quite a hassle. You can also bring the monitor to a TV shop and have them rejuvinate it.

Both solutions are temporary fixes.

The only other fix I know of is a new monitor. Brightness seems to be a tube issue, but maybe someone else knows of a better solution than buying a new monitor.

remember that the monitor plexi has a slight tint/distortion to it, maybe remove that and see if it looks better? Ahh, what do I know??
