Wei-ya slowly making me want to end my life

M3192D - strange as fuck pincushion adjustment. I have to have the pot on the remote board as its absolute limit for the screen to be straight? why is that?

Surely normal operation would mean it needing to be in the middle, but no it has to be all the way to one side for the screen to just about be straight.

I've been told it could need a cap replacing, the monitor tube is matched to the chassis, they came as one part, I think its always been like this.

Geometry sucks I can't get it very good despite hours and hours of trying, I know clued up people are going to say 'well its a wei-ya what do you expect' but if you could see the problems I'm having, maybe you'd understand.

It seems to be different with every board, I'll get my newer cave PGM stuff looking 'ok' and then put a gen 1 board in and it'll look fucking terrible.

any ideas would be nice. I'm about to sell the thing to be honest.

Odd, mines not like that, you do know theres two focus pots right? which one do you need to tweak, the 'inner' or 'outer' part of the screen?

but yeah, fuck these chassis, is your pincushion the same too or not?

theres two? im adjusting the one on the flyback, i think theres only one. afaik the focus is fine but its just odd it has to be at the max.

i try not to drive myself crazy with geometry settings, so i cant really say for sure.

Hmm, what chassis is it? the 3129D is dual focus I believe, there should be 3 pots on the flyback, one for screen volts and the other two are focus pots, one for the middle of the screen and one for the outer.

Well, thats the case on mine anyway.
