I am pretty sure that every game released in the UK came in a plastic case, but what about Japan?

I know some of them are in plastic and some are not. If a game is in a paper box, does that mean it does not exist in plastic form?

Is there a place that has information on which games came in plastic, and which ones in box, and which ones in both (if that happened)?

Most of the early Japanese games came in the black snaplock case. Later ones came in cardboard boxes to save money. However, SNK later released some games in the affordable Pink seal "Best Collection" series that were all in black snaplock cases, so some games that were previously cardboard box releases (SNK Vs. Capcom Card Fighter's Clash and Match of the Millennium, Metal Slug 2nd Mission, The Last Blade, Gals Fighters) received the BC upgrade.
