Howdy,
I just wanted to ask if anyone knows of a good resource for someone just getting into the arcade/pcb scene. I honestly know nothing about pcbs and just want to read on up things like jamma, pcb maintaintence etc....like swapping batteries and just little things like that you wouldn't encounter in the console world.

My worst fear would be to buy a nice cab and some expensive pcbs only to have them die/suicide on me for some stupid/easily preventable reason. I guess I just want to educate myself a little before I jump head first into this stuff....so lmk if any of you guys refer to some specific websites to learn about this stuff

P.S. Please don't say "google" :hammer:

If you don't have -5 hooked up.... see here

I had this problem a few days ago when I purchase Thunder Fox via PCB. I wasn't getting any sound until I found out that the game uses -5v for the sound. I check the Egret II and found that the -5v wasn't even in the PSU so after two minutes of simple rewiring I got Thunder Fox with sound.
