GONE! Boxed SNES w/issues

SPOKEN FOR!

This is taking up space in the closet so I figure I'll pass it on to someone technically inclined.

Boxed SNES system:

Box - ok condition, has tape sealing one end, shelf wear all around otherwise
Styrofoam - good condition, one minor crack, intact otherwise
Controller - gamer condition, has use marks and scratches
AC adaptor - good condition
AV wires - good condition
All original Nintendo brand components

System - cosmetically awesome condition, original grey all around with no yellowing, near-perfect shell. Functionally, however, the system has glitches whenever a mode-3 game is inserted. The screen will get pixelated and in some instances the game may become unplayable (Super Mario World rotating lifts are stuck in one spot and cause instant death upon landing). May be fixable, but not by me. The system was opened up, but all original screws are included, it'll be up to you to put it back together (just time consuming).

Great setup to fool around on, or to swap pieces with your gamer yellowed deck.

I would like to toss my name out as someone who would want this...

Been looking for a SNES to do a RGB mod on, this may be perfect for that. I am working on etching a RGB amp that I can use with multiple systems, I am havng issues with the toner transfer though, so progress has been limited. Once I get that working, doing the RGB mod should be no prob.

So can I please have your SNES?

my snes needs everything but the snes, including a new shell.

also wouldnt mind poking around seeing if i could fix it.

Its hard to find a SNES that's not all yellow, let alone a free one. Think I will swap good guts and have a minty SNES. I will solder the hell out of its PCB though

Damn, I wish I was awake when this thread was made... my yellow SNES could use a new shell. Totally yellow except for the cart slot and controller ports.
