no, neo´s sync is composite and cga has separete syncs.

and it´s not 16 colors.

basically what I want to know is if the device will take 15.75 kHz h-freq at it´s RGB inputs.

and it already takes svideo and composite video which is a good start.

Still works on a CGA monitor....

The 16 colors thing is just a restriction of the old video cards. CGA monitors will display any color on the RGB spectrum.

But yeah, Terms like CGA, EGA, VGA, SVGA and XVGA are really antiquated.
