3 new arrivals- SOLVED

Neo Turf master
Well I got another boot...has same label and screws as the other boot I got. Ill post pics but i know this one is a boot for sure...no snk labels on pcb and same shiny green pcb visible through slats. Label on cart is also super clean and the screws are shiny brass dome head jobbies. Looks like it same creator as my other one, Its pretty much identical


I also got 2 other carts and they look legit but not 100%sure...so want feedback on these. As I say Im pretty sure they are legit

Supersidekicks2- in clear cart with windowed eprom
chip id- v2+v1, have not opened this one up
cant find a genuine cart pic, my pic of cart


Nam- seems to be similar to chip pics on website
chips look different but has similar chip id- v11+v23+v22+v21+p1
is on a nam snk board...so i guess this is a different revision?? no sign of repairs- link to ref shot of genuine cart.

looks legit. There seems to be no shoddy soldering and the chips are all properly marked. Usually those two right there are major signs of a boot but it all looks pretty clean and professional. Any other thoughts?

Yeah thought as much

I guess I was freaked (mmm...ngf??) that the boot/copy (the turf master one) was so similar to the other pirate copy i got. The label on the cart (the little round one) the clean spine label plus the same screws for the cart and similar pcb with no snk markings at all- same green and look etc.

super sidekicks 2 and nam are legit.

can´t judge turf masters just by case and label.

Trust me its bogus... i opened it up to be sure

Sounds like Case closed on other 2....glad to see im getting good at spotting legit vs bogus ones

Curious to what the boards look like on the Turf Masters..

I like looking at Boot Boards.

NAM is like the early games where SNK was using off the shelf chips prior to their custom SNK chips.

re clean boot comment below...not for me!! saw another one very similar recently...see my gallery of shame for a clean boot. its not as super sexy clean but pretty close...has eproms and 2 wires
Scary thing as I said was it was identical style case, screws and v similar pcb

of course now i have to do battle to get refund etc etc with seller... no worries re getting cash back...good ol paypal.

Wow.... that's about the cleanest-looking boot I've ever seen.
