Rough RGB on AES

Hi -

I got a JAP AES a couple of weeks ago, and it strikes me that the picture looks a bit 'rough'...
its like the pixels are bigger than they should be or something... a little like the texture on a painting on canvas... does that make sense? Probaly not...

Anyway, the AES is running through RGB, and I was just wondering whether this was a known feature of the AES hardware?

Any ideas would be most welcome...

YEah I know exactly what you mean. I just bought a Jap/Us AES and the graphics on Samurai SHowdown 2 look like theyre painted on a canvas. Its fuzzy and all pixelated. I connect my AES to the telly using a scart lead. Could there be something wrong with my system and/or scart cable?
