red and black screen

can any one help ive just turned my cab on and the screen is just in red and black .

has anyone got any ideas,

i mean the game boots up ok but all the charecters/backgrounds etc are all ind red and black.would this be a monitor problem or a jamma harness problem.

please help my fatal fury special cart has arrived today and i want to play it.

i think its a intervideo vp250,25 inch
