I'm looking to buy a slot1 MVS. It has a nice screen, is in good condition and is close so I won't get murdered on shipping.

The problem is, is I don't want a slot1. I would rather have a slot 4.

If I were to change the slot1 to a slot4 how do I change games as the cab lacks the 'switch games' button?

Would I physically have to do this?

I'm intending on installing the BIOS chip and using an AES stick to activate it, is there anything I can do with that to switch games?

Would I have to rewire the cab as well?

What am I in for here, fellas?

Well, in order to change games, you'll need to wire up a new button to change games. I don't know what your going to do with a different MVS bios as you can just get in there to access all the features by setting dip switch 1 on.

As far as AES sticks go, you have a bit of a distance to get the sticks from where the board is. You can build/buy an extension cable and have it work fine, but as far as I know you can't have the stick select the game or input a coin.

But other than the new button for switching games, you won't have to do any rewireing.

Peace

Subtly Radical. Is there any reference websites I could check out to help me with this endeavor?

Also...anyone have a Drill I can borrow? I broke my dremmel <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0">.
