Watchdog on a Revision 3-6 AES Console

Ya, I have it. Got an AES dirt cheap but it has the watchdog kicking in.

I already checked bios, next is CPU and RAM.

Weird thing is when I opened up the console the mobo was covered in some kind of oil everywhere, is that normal or to protect it? Shit looks spanking new.

Edit: Was a broken trace to the bios. Console works great now.

BUT

I also see 2 suspect traces from under the bios that may fail soon. Does anyone know where they go?

Reads like you have Rosin Flux residue on the board which can cause electrical shorts or corrosion. I believe you have to purchase a special cleaner for the stuff.It is known to contain some cancer causing chemicals so make sure you wash your hands thoroughly.

I wiped it all up then just washed my hands.

I checked a couple times for other traces and everything else was perfect.
