I tried the demo via the Nintendo Channel and it was good but different. I may rent it at some point.

There was some pretty cool pre-order bonus stuff though.

It looked like it got delayed a couple days. Planning on picking it up today. It's an srpg/shmup hybrid from what I've seen. Looks fun.

I picked this up and started playing it today (went through the tutorial and a few battles). This game is very different... it's told almost like a moving storybook of sorts in between battles and then once you get into the battles, you techincally aren't doing the fighting yourself. You play as a wisp (a dot which is moved with the touch screen on the bottom) and control the knights in the game.

It definately is an RPG combined with a SHMUP in how you have to dodge and collect items on the screen as the wisp. Also, they manage to throw in BINGO (I'm being serious here). The gameplay is VERY involved... I don't want to say difficult... complicated, it's just that there is a lot of things going on and controlled all on the screen area (the entire game is played on the screen, no button responses or commands, so far) and a lot of things are done all on screen.

If you're not the best at multi-tasking in games, ths may not be the best fit, but if that's fine with you then, my initial impression is give it a go.

Bought this months ago because I knew it would be t3h rarez and finally got a chance to sit down a play it this week.

First and foremost, this game is deep and the tutorial will take you awhile to get through. Once I learned the game, I had fun. It's like a shmup and a RPG. Your units don't ever get hurt, well sometimes in boss fights but that's another story. Your "wisp" take damage from enemy attacks.

Best part about this game, the top screen is where the action is while the bottom touch screen is basic stats so I can see what's going on in the game without my paw covering it up.

Got about 10 hours and I'm liking it. Very different, but good I'd say.

This game has a really great concept of mixing FF Tactics-style RPG and Shmups maneuvering. I played it for about four hours, enough to make it through the tutorial and about half a dozen scenarios.

The art-style and sprite illustrations are incredible. It's very entertaining with a great art style, but very complicated and time-consuming. It'll probably be great for anyone who enjoys Tactics, but I just had to let it go because of the inability to just jump in and play for a quick session.

How is that going to work? The analog is too unresponsive for quick twitch control and the game doesn't have two screens. I see the game getting either slowed down too much or a bit far from the original, more likely the first. The crazy amount of stuff going on is what makes the game unique, so I don't see how having to slow it down will make the PSP version good, but who knows.
