PSP emulator problem: DoubleDragonAdvance just wont work - why?

I have been wanting to play this for so long...but cannot get it to work.
Started off with firmware 3.71 M33... and it did not work.
So I upgraded to 5.00 M33-6, and got the following GBA emulator: UO gpSP kai 3.3 test 2 Build 132

All GBA games work with this... just not Double Dragon Advance. It starts loading up, saying load Rom ok, but never gets past a white screen, which makes the emulator crash...in fact it makes the psp crash with that ugly little sound that switches it off.

And I have tried with different ROMS of DoubleDragonAdvance... I have downloaded them from different websites, even as a torrent. But still no luck.

Any Idea why?

Other shit works no problem, including emulators. Got FBA, BOR etc all working fine.... its just this game. In fact it is all Double Dragon Games. I tried getting Double Dragon 2 to work on FBA and Mame, and it just does not work.

Any help would be appreciated. And yes, I should maybe ask in a psp forum or something.... but for various reasons its just easier to ask here first. Thanks

Ive read most games dont work on mame for psp period. In fact I only got 3 or 4 games to work. As far as Double Dragon, Ive never tried it on GBA emulator. I may have to try and see what youre talking about.
