meanbean and his CPS3 battery mods - where did he go?

Last time meanbean was online was last July - anyone know if he's still about or have another contact method for him please? I want to ask him about CPS3 carts and his battery mod.

I believe there are long-term problems with modding the security cart to have the quick-swap CR2 Battery, as opposed to soldering a new one on the pcb. A few people have had theirs prematurely suicide because it's not held extremely secure.

You may be better off with the method posted above.
