maybe, hows the soldering on the back?

Looks perfect.

There is an original MS ROM piggyback ontop of another ROM as seen in the pic, with a small black wire run from one of the legs to the center.

And the EPROM on the other board has that red/white sticker over it.

No red flags during gameplay.

Doesn't look to be a boot, most likely... can you get a decent pic of the writing on the chips, though?

You just hate to admit that I'm right. :D

Dude, seriously - i'm giving you one last chance.

Leave kernow alone, for one.

And DO NOT post here again, not even an "I'm sorry".

Seriously man, don't do it.

None of the chips have a NGH, I have to say boot. I'd also wager that whatever connection line in the board that was runnning from one end of the wire to the other is bad, hence the wire is there.

Oh, it was labeled as a boot and sold as a boot.

No worries.

Just looks well prepared for a boot.

I love the Boot or No Boot.

My Metal Slug is a boot:(

Terrible soldering job on the back.

You only notice it's a boot at the part where you jump/crawl under the three electric fences, the electric sound is messed up.

Only paid $10+ S&H so I didn't get bent over too bad.

At least the seller was honest Tonk:mr_t:

Toshiba ROMs are nice to see, but by no means a necessity to verify legitimacy.

It's a boot because the markings on those chips are not what you'd see on any legit officially released cart.
