I have this PSU for my Neo that inputs 120-240V and output to Neo (?? Forget), but it's ampere count is 2500 MA.

My question is, is it possible for me to use an adapter with smaller ampere count??

Yes, Depending on the power rating of your Neo, if it is 5V 3A, anything 5V 3A and above will do. If it is the same Neo you gotten from me, the rating if I remember correctly is 10V1A

The voltage must be 9 v with ampere at least 1.2A, for polarity, I check for you and email you back! Mega drive adaptor will work fine!
