Arcade OS 2.5 resetting configuration?

Good morning guys,

After a flat move I finally found place for my "ARCADE TIMEWARP" machine. Its running ARCADE OS, after 5 years of storage... it still runs :)

The problem I have is with the joystick configuration, somewhere along the way, someone messed up the settings. Right now I can't set the buttons properly. I've tried changing the "GENERAL INPUT" with little luck. Is it possible to completely reset the button/joystick configuration?
