1 Common (GND)
2 n/a
3 Button 5
4 Button 4
5 Button 2
6 Right
7 Down
8 n/a
9 Button 4
10 Button 6
11 Start
12 Button 3
13 Button 1
14 Left
15 Up

I want to say 2 is Coin, since it's based on the Neo-Geo pinout and 8 would have been for +5V. I've got a coin button on one of my sticks, I'll take a look at it later.

Yeah, if you could let me know for sure I would really appreciate it. I'm trying to get some sticks made and no one seems to have this information.

Thanks.

Coin is usually the same as select which is 3, 8 is +5v. You just need to find out which buttons are basically Kick 1, 2, and 3.

He used one that was mapped to the coin (or possibly service) button the jamma harness, separate from Select/Button 5.

Also the pinout goes for the kick-harness too. Button 4 is D for Neo-Geo or LK for Street Fighter, they're both wired up inside the supergun.

I'm going to say it may depend a bit on when he made it. The pinout I gave is how it is on mine, but I believe it may be changed a bit from when he used the metal cases.

Really the bet way to tell is if you have access to a multi-meter, do a continuity test between the controller port and the jamma edge to map it out.

wow. i was about to make a thread for the exact same thing. thanks fantat, k-dub, and xx.

quick question, if pin 2 is n/a, then would i be able to wire up my 8th 30mm button to it? would it mess with the super gun in any way?

i'm asking cause i'm thinking of wiring my tekken 5 stick up to db-15 for the super gun, but i'm planning on building a converter with a cthulu pcb to use it with my ps3. I'd like to have all 8 buttons work for the playstation, but i dont want it to go to something like test mode on the super gun.

Yup, that's the only way to be sure since Dean never posted his pinout anywhere.

On the one you have Pin-2 is coin up. On the Saturn pads I gave you, it's mapped to L. Checked back over my emails with Dean and that's what we decided on.

The rest of the pinout I posted above is true for the supergun I sold you too.
