Absolutely, did the guy a favour by taking them off his hands :) They would have been dumped otherwise.

Yeah, I have the three board version of Qix with cabinet, manual and everything. Qix is from 1981 and doesn't have any edge connectors. So if it's a genuine TAITO board I don't really think it's Qix at all.

But damned what a find, I'm quite envious, the dealers here sells broken boards. :p

Space invaders is TVN00004

<a href="http://arcadecollecting.xmission.com/pcbpics/p1207.html" target="_blank">http://arcadecollecting.xmission.com/pcbpics/p1207.html</a>

This is SGN00004, looks like the top board is an add on,its hard wired to the main board, but they are both original Taito boards ???

doesnt even appear to have a cPU onboard, so pretty early game. Dang, you scored nicely.

As a small note, the squawk and talk is a Bally sound board used for their pinball machines. fathom, , medusa, 8 ball deluxe, centaur are representative of that board.

If you happen to come across any Midway Wolf unit boards(MK3, Rampage World Tour etc.) that you can't get to work, could you send it to me? I need a RAM chip to fix a board I have, and I can't find one online anywhere.

I also have a Wrestlefest board with some gfx problems, mostly all the colors are messed up, other than that the game plays and sounds perfect. What type of problem do you have with it?

There are horizontal lines through the sprites.
Amano, is your board the same, I think I have a bootleg version.

Just hit all the salvage/junk yards with in 100miles of where you live. It’s pretty common to find whole arcades dumped in junkyards these days. I actually just spent this last weekend savaging a junkyard with my friend. We brought home a full street fighter 3 third strike cab that had quite a few cosmetic problems but works just fine now ^_^. You will turn up lots of junk, junk boards, and just crappy games. However, the amount of people who actually do search junk yards for arcade PCB's is so slim that your almost guaranteed to hit a jack pot or two, and with arcades going out of business right and left these days this is a very popular past time for me and my friends, almost like going on a really really cool Easter egg hunt !

No, my board is different, and as far as I know it is original. What happens is that all the colors are wrong, for example Hulk Hogan is bright yellow. If I move the board while playing sometimes the colors change a bit, and once I even managed to get the correct colours for some seconds.
