Well, now I've changed this title as the game is pure butter. Story is decent though nothing groundbreaking. Where the games shines is the battle system. As a fan of more action oriented RPGs, this game just does it for me. Animation and graphics are amazing as well. I haven't had this much fun with an RPG in ages. Go buy this now.

BTW: It comes with a soundtrack too!:buttrock:

It looks like 2 of the main characters are from Namco X Capcom?

Bought it today and can't wait to try it out. Stuck at the in-laws for the time being. :(

BTW; Am I the only one pumped that the super attack animations are actual animations then a one still frame? That just blew me away.

So far so good. It's like a distant futuristic cousin to Valkyrie Chronicles. Great art styl, animation, and of course, t3h boobies.

I didn't even realize this existed. So it's a straight-up RPG now? Interesting... is it still fraught with crazy attack animations?

I didn't know much about the series when I picked this up. I am really impressed with this game and I love the battle animations. Normally I get a little bored during most RPG battles but this game is much different.

This is a really great game.

I need more impressions on this game... sorry, but the videos of battle animation doesn't do it for me without context. Furthermore, I never liked the excessive amount of juggling in some games as bridges for chain combos.

I picke this game up @ Jedah's suggestion and it's a fun RPG. The juggling mechanic iswhat makes this game fun. The battles are simple and can get complex all the while keeping the game's pace moving nicely, which makes grinding fun.

I guess I'll have to check into that game so you get to build mechs in it? I so wish a new Biomotor game would be made but since that's not happening I'll have to check this out.

Thanks for the heads up. I'm so getting this.

The last game in this series I played was Super Robot Wars MX for PSP. I liked it a lot, but you couldn't skip the cut scenes, and they made you rewatch them if you lost a battle. It really upset me.

You know me either. I thought the battle system was kind of lame but after playing the game I love it. This really is a great game and all the sexual harrasment just makes me laugh.

Watching the videos for this and one question comes to mind: Where are the motherfucking Super Robots?

Isn't the Super Robot Taisen series supposed to feature super robots like Mazinger, Getter, Raideen, etc.? Are there SUPER ROBOTS in the game, or just guys walking around in cowboy hats, like in these videos?

The Super Robots appear later in the game. One is the partner of one of your team members you acquire later on. The other three come one by one as support characters. So it's based in the world but the Super Robot icons are more these mythical and larger then life characters.

Either way the game is immensely fun. I'm up to 30 hours now. Still having a blast.
