I'll hopefully be getting a candy cab soon, but I also wanted it to have 6 button config for cps and stv boards. The problem is I like the US style layout with the buttons- not curved. I can solve this by putting the 3 kick buttons under B,C,and D. But the problem is that it will be using buttons A,B, and C and not B,C, and D. Is there anything I can do? I was thinking of maybe wiring the 4 neo buttons to the joystick port on the motherboard, and the 6 button capcom style through the harness. Does this make any sense? I basically want the same layout as this guy , but with the 3 kick buttons moved under B, C, and D.

There is no way you can do it because button A,B, and C are connected to your jamma harness. You might be able to do it with a switch and extra wiring (so you can switch between when you play your neo and ST), but I'm not sure if it even exits or to even do it.

Your best bet it just to install 3 buttons underneath A,B, and C.

You can always take the disconnects off A,B, and C, and just move them down one everytime y ou play ST, but that will be very annoying after a while :p

You can do it. Checkout the custom wiring section under the wire shop on my site. You can see what I did for RevQuixo. Yours would be close to the same thing. You just need a special kick harness that reroutes the buttons.
