G.Rev's got a YouTube page now. Hopefully they'll keep it up and show off more of what's in store for us. I feel like playing some more Under Defeat.

Hey Sama, I know your reading this, by any chance do you know the correct button configuration for Senko no Ronde on an arcade stick? The biggest problem I have with the game is even after I read the manual I still have no idea on what button does what and just resort to mashing attacks and dashing around like an idiot.

I was thinking about posting the latest info about it here, but I figured nobody would care, so I didn't bother. But since this thread is here now, may as well :

The official release date for the arcade version is July of this year. I think we may see a 360 port as early as December. There'll be another location test later this month (from the 22nd to the 26th), so expect to see more gameplay videos popping up around then. G.rev also updated their SnRDuo site with some new screenshots and are slowly revealing all of the playable characters (there will be 12 total). Lastly, as you can see, G.rev have their own channel on YouTube now and uploaded that new trailer for the game.

As for the button layout, it's : A = Act, B = Main, X = Sub

My personal arcade stick layout for the 360 version is : A = Act New, B = Main, X = Sub, Y = Main+Sub

Can't wait. Great developer; loved the first (even though I was awful).

I need to put in more time with the game. What joystick do you use when you play?

Hori EX2

I really need to mod this thing with Sanwa or Seimitsu parts. Hori's buttons are terrible in terms of durability. You get what you pay for...

Thank you for the button layout, I really need to play it more. I just get confused with how everything works.

I can't wait for this game! The main reason I got a 360 was for Senko no Ronde.

I am glad I got a JPN 360. I love the first one and after it tanked here I doubt this one will ever see a US release.

I really need to get a stick for the 360. I too stink at the game :emb: It took me so long to finally beat that squid boss with the spinning laser.

Does anyone have a link to some high res art? I would like to make my own case cover to replace the nasty US one. I also want to make a stick with some art

Agreed. I don't think any publishers would be willing to take a risk publishing this game in the US/EU, especially not Ubisoft.

You can find some semi-hires art here, both official and non-official (some might be NSFW).

Thank you very much :D

I really love the art style, has the char designer done any other major works?

The character designs were done by Citronette, which is actually a team of two artists. Aside from the SnR series, they did the character art for G.rev's other game Mamoru-kun, the PC doujin VS fighter Million Knights Vermilion, and one of them did the character art/manga for Persona 3 and 4.

Thank you, now that you mention P4 I totally see the connection, I also loved the designs in P4. Its the way the eyes are drawn, very unique.

Thanks again for that other link I already found a pic I like for my stick.

I'm very tempted to buy the type X2 release when it comes out in July, G-Front already has pre-orders open.

The 360 version is gorgeous, but I still love the Naomi version with Dreamcast graphics.

Check out this cool Cuilan A-2 outfit I have for a Super Dollfie. Officially licensed by Volks and G.Rev for the Dolls Party 16 convention in 2006. There were only 5 or 10 made, I can't remember.

G.Rev's got a new trailer of that other game with the cutey MOE characters. It looks like Gunwange were the characters are walking around on the ground, but they also fly like in Esp.

But nothing to get my hopes up about because being jobless, I can't get a Japanese 360. :/

Mamoru-kun wa Norowareteshimatta. The video is also available on the Japanese Live marketplace.

Major website update. The Story and System sections are online now, and the Character pages now show each pilot's Rounder along with some info. The System section is divided into 3 parts (the 3rd part is still hidden), explaining most of the features, new and old. The game should be going on sale any day now.

New tutorial video from the System section :

Alright, the arcade version has been out since late July, the arcade version received an update not too long ago to address various balance issues and made both Lili & Sakurako playable characters (Ernula has been a hidden character since the game was first released), and today a 360 port has been announced in the latest Famitsu.

The chances of this port getting a US release are very slim. Here's hoping G.rev follow in Cave's footsteps and make it region-free.

Same here, seeing how well the first one sold I doubt they'd get the game picked up from another publisher.

The release date is next Spring (I'm guessing sometime in May). It appears that G.rev is almost done with porting the main game, and is mainly working on adding extra content right now.
