Depends on the model you have. The older nintendo 8-bit has composite output on the side, if you buy one of these...

even though the auction says neo geo adapter it works with just about ever console in existence.

As for Stereo, I don't believe you'll be able to get that out of the NES, <a href="http://www.gamesx.com" target="_blank">www.gamesx.com</a> might have something to help you

Pseudo stereo is possible, for example you could use a crossover to send different frequencies to different channels. Not a great result though.

Basically, its like a mono recording. Don't try, you won't get good results unless you have each instrument on a desk and can pan!

As for comp-svid adapter, sounds dodgy to me. Its never gonna be as good as a dedicated s-video out, which the NES doesn't support

As for the Stereo mod, It works (and its cool too!)

Just look on the net for Cris Covell's NES page, it has all the info.

There's also a way to mod your nes to play other country games (NOT famicom games though), but I havent tried it yet.

Well the stereo mod isn't that great cuz its not true stereo!

And btw, there's more than one mod - the older mod works too ;)
