What does the memory card for AES do?

I have a CD-Z and the built in memory doesnt have much function, you can save your position but that's it for most games.

Please tell me that the memory card for AES saves high-scores. Or else, i won't be getting one worthless piece of plastic.

The aes memory card does the same thing as the cdz memory. It's just for saving position, no high scores

Just as i thought then, i should get an MVS if i want highscores then. Anyway, who wants to save their position in a fighting game?
