You're too much of a noob to remember boog's previous experiences with superguns.

What is the issue? I am a newb when it comes to Supergun and I want to build one soon. Is there a gold standard on building these or something?

...eh, if it gets ya from point A to B.

This is Zeon, the builder of the Supergun.

Just to clarify the Supergun is 99% complete, The other 1% includes the aforementioned zip ties on the Jamma loom, and testing the auxiliary port functionality, which is used for kick harnesses. I also need to install a key on the edge connector.

The manual isn't finished entirely yet, but will be when the supergun is ready to ship.

I know it isn't the cleanest or most professional looking work, but it gets the job done. In case anyone was wondering, the reason for the video and audio ports on the front is that there wasn't quite enough room in he back to install them with the power supply occupying most of it.

I wouldn't feel right if I didn't, Boog and his family aren't exactly the most technically inclined people. Without a manual I don't think anyone he knows would know how to safely hookup and operate it.

I definitely don't want any fires, damaged equipment/games, or people getting hurt arising from improper use of something I built. Especially not without having provided a manual with proper use in the first place

Do you personally know the family?

Hey everyone me new Excalibur supergun should be shipped out at the end of the week after the kick harness is tested to play jamma pcbs on it. :D

Lios/Zeon is going to mod my Sega Saturn and Sega Dreamcast arcade joysticks to work on the supergun which will be good for my boards.

The arcade pcbs I own so far are,

Dungeons Dragons: Tower of Doom (Suicide Free)
Captain America & the Avengers
Final Fight
Martial Champion
Marvel Super Heroes (Suicide Free)
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (4 Player)

Soon to own,

Dungeons & Dragons: Shadow Over Mystara (Suicide Free)
Street Fighter Zero 2 (Suicide Free)
Tumble Pop

Plenty of arcade boards and mvs carts to keep me busy but I will get more someday. :D

I'm sure that I will have a blast playing arcade games on tv. :D

My friend is modding both a Saturn and Dreamcast arcade joysticks to work on the Supergun and also still work on the original consoles. I need a small coin button on the Dreamcast joystick to add credits since there is no select button and also have the start button moved in the center if possible. :)

I can tell you that it's a yaton encoder with a jrok sync cleaner that's in Shawn's supergun.

The Neo Geo CD controller pad works great for games that use 1,2,3&4 buttons and when I get my Saturn and Dreamcast arcade sticks back I can play games that use 5&6 buttons like Atomiswave, Street Fighter Zero 2 etc.

For normal jamma boards I have to use the av cables on the supergun. If I want to play CPS2 boards the av cables are removed from the supergun and plugged straight into the CPS2 boards while hooked to the jamma harness. :)

Found out I have the European version of D&D: Tower of Doom which is 4 players. :D

Its not hooked up with S-video.

Go grab an S-Video cable - like $7

BIG difference.

Yeah Boog. I'll say it like this the S-Video on your supergun is kick ass. When Lios was testing your supergun he hooked it up to both TVs at once. Once via composite, one via S-Video. That was like night and day. It's a very nice upgrade.
