I wasn't even aware this game had a US release, dood. I saw it when I walked into a Korean retailer and brought the only copy they had, dood. I couldn't pass up an action platformer starring the canon fodder of the Disgaea series. I only played it for a bit and I like it already. It has Disgaea's trademark humor and Etna makes an appearance! Jumping is alittle clunky but I can forgive it, dood.

It's been heavily advertised in Shonen Jump for at least a few months now. Though I don't have a PSP so I'm not all that interested in it.

I've been debating whether to pick this up for a while now. I hear it's balls-bustingly hard, and the gameplay is less than perfect.

But it is indeed hard to turn down a Prinny game (dood).

This game is a balls buster. Last night I died 51 times on stage two. Hell, the "tips" options in this game is just a replay of your previous play session to observe your mistakes. The only gameplay flaw is the jumping. Not being able to adjust your movement mid-jump makes platforming and buttstomping a pain.

Pick it up. You won't regret, dood!

It's great, dood!

It is outrageously, Mega Man/Batman and Robin Genesis/Contra Hard Corps difficult though. Fortunately, you do get 1000 lives to start with and you will probably need them all. Picked up Hammerin' Hero today too.

I was all for this game, but the controls suck donkey balls. They had me so frustrated, even just trying to jump up onto a ledge.

:oh_no: I was rather looking forward to playing it through too.

Ah, see, I've heard this before. That's one of the things that cautioned me against it. Still.... Prinny. C'mon.

The game would be 100% more enjoyable if you could use the nub and the controls didn't seem to lag.
It seems like it would be a really fun. Cute story line, monsters, etc. Graphics aren't bad, voice acting and sound is pretty good. I just can't get into with the terrible controls. :(

Definitely sounds like a deal breaker... I hated LittleBigPlanet 'cause I thought its controls sucked too. It was a shame because I liked the atomsphere a lot, same as you and Prinny. Ah well. Nothing is annoying as a near miss, I tell ya.

I'll downgrade this one, and get stuff like Tokyo Beatdown, Harry Hatsworth and the like first.

The controls aren't THAT bad. It's very much in the vein of the Ghost 'n Goblins series. Once you've jump; you are committed.

The jumping mechanics are somewhat screwy, but it's an otherwise worthy game. I need to pick this one back up. I got stuck trying to clear an especially nasty jump on the 4th stage, I believe, and set it aside. I should give it another go.

Waiting for price drop (which is probably going to bite me in the ass since it seems to have a low print run).

Like Dolphinlord said, controls are a bit screwy but it's one of the better psp games to come out recently

I have to admit I got bored of it pretty quickly. Between the weird-ass jumps and the otherwise convoluted controls, it just didn't do it for me.

Still, it was quirky and fun enough (even if only for a while), so I'll come back to it sooner or later, no doubt.

I tell ya though. People weren't kidding when they said this was a hard game. I managed to beat the first three levels without too many problems, but it gets tricky in a real hurry.

I'm up to the level 5 boss.

Haven't got a clue how to beat it...

Thanks. I actually figured it out myself on the train to work this morning, then finally beat it on the train home from work. Lost 87 Prinnies on the boss alone, but very rewarding when I finally nailed it.

Excellent game.
