OK so I was doing a CPS battery change and when I snipped the leg on the battery, the front of the battery came undone and the contents of the battery started getting everywhere.

My CPS2 board is dead now (bummer), but what I'm really curious about is that a small amount of the battery acid (lithium? I don't know anything about these really) got on one of my steak knives (I was doing this on the stove) and I want to know if I should throw it away.

Is it safe to eat with after a run through the dishwasher, or should I toss it?

Also, I know this stuff is terribly corrosive, but I couldn't find any information about cleanup online...are there any terrifying details I should know?

:lolz:
