Either will do, both are 9.5V and 1.5 amp, please PM me if you have either of these.

EDIT:Thanks to Neosneth, I have found a generic that will work, but I still wouldn't mind having an original.

i've had this power adapter but i have no idea what it goes to. it is sega brand.
says on the back label:

Input: 120v 60Hz 15W
Output: 9v DC 1A

if it's what you need, i would be glad to let you have it at the cost of shipping. otherwise, can someone please tell me what this goes to?? thanks.

There should be a model number on that AC adapter. That's the easiest way to identify them. From the size alone, I'd guess it's a GEN3 adapter though.

Actually, a genesis model 1 power supply works perfectly fine with a JVC x-eye, if that's what you need it for. I've used one with my x-eye for several years with no issues at all.

I am told that it is risky to use any normal Genny AC adapters. The CDX is the only one that is comparable.

still looking folks, help me out

what I need is:

Part Number: AA-S95J

Input: 120V AC 60Hz 25W
Output: 9.5V DC 1.5A

I happened to have my Model 1 Genesis plugged into the TV next to my computer, so I'm gonna chime in.

Mine reads (well, relevant info anyway, it also is more boxy with grips):

Model 1602
Output: 9VDC 1.2A

+ ~ -

I know that slight differences in Voltage don't matter much, but yeah, the difference in amperage might cause some damage to the console over time. I say best to play it safe on this one.

where did ya get it?

best buy has em for $20ish
or 10 $ on ebay.

It used to be easy to find the JVC adapter , but it has been discontinued. This adapter is meant for the JVC platform, which is the same input as the CDX.
