Noob MVS question

Ok, this is my first MVS board, so this is probably a basic question.

I have an MVS-1 board, with Unibios 2.3 installed.

I have two carts, Super Sidekicks 2, and World Heroes.

SS2 boots fine, no issues, everything dandy. When I put WH2 in the board, it just boots straight into the hardware test mode. Nothing I can do can bring it out of that test mode (although I can go through and test the board as many times as I want).

Is this a Unibios compatibility issue, or do I just need to clean the cart? The contacts on the cart look a little rough, but they don't look much worse than the SS2, so I don't know how bad they really are.

Sounds like your cart is dirty or isn't seated right. Try cleaning it real thoroughly with q-tips and alcohol...then let it dry completely and try again.

I'll 2nd cleaning the cart contacts. Try q-tips and alcohol first. If that doesn't do it, go at it with a pink eraser, then more alcohol.

It probably also wouldn't hurt to scrub out your cart slots with some contact cleaner and a soft toothbrush if you haven't already.
