Thanks the Chief. I'm really surprised that you don't know about this version. There's no bullets at all in the Bangladesh version of Donpachi, they changed the bullets for real poeple. The tanks, bus, bikes and bicyles throw a ridiculous amount of real people at you but your ship can't throw shit, it's like a dot eater verion of Donpachi, truly a masterpiece.

The cab will not be here till about may it looks like. The wait is killing me. the Donpachi series is one of my favorite manic shmups and I was shocked to see you had one for sale.

My control panel from Akihabarashop that I ordered March 10th still hasn't shipped out yet...haha you were not kidding when you said they wait with them is long.

Soon enough i'll be glued to Gunbird 2 :D

Yeah, I told you, the guy is very nice and all but he's also slow as fuck. That's the only place I found the Sanwa meshball though. About Donpachi, I have no choice, I need to pay that brand new true flat tri-sync Sanwa monitor I've bought on ebay, it cost me 405 USD shipped and I'll have to pay candaian custom fees as well when it gets here.

Ughhh. That is terrible, sorry to hear that, but if the monitor was that needed, I can understand your situation. I would HATE to have to let go of donpachi. Such a good shmup. I have only played it on saturn and MAME sadly. DP in an egret II sounds like things dreams are made of heh.

Hope you can make the $$ you need to pay off that monitor. As I said before, if I can come up w/ the funds for this before you sell it to someone else, I would gladly give it a good home :). Hope your monitor gets there sooner than later :)

For this guy the dream came true http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aU9SX4jwTY0

Donpachi is a piece of arcade history, first Cave shmup and one of my favourite to date but also one of my cheaper and somewhat common PCB, that's why I'm selling this one. I know that I'll be able to get it back later which it not the case of say Battle Garegga for exemple. I really hope to get the monitor in one piece btw :)

Haha, nice video.

I have heard horror stories of monitors getting broken during shipment. Lets hope that it does get their in 1 piece.

I am glad to hear that DonPachi is a cheaper PCB in general. That means that even if I dont get yours, its not going to be a pain to obtain.

I hope my control panel and cab get here in 1 piece myself :P

The game has been sold on shmups.com, thanks everyone :)

OldSchoolGamer, yeah this game is somewhat common, expecialy if you don't care about the jpn/Atlus logo thing. Japanese Donpachi boards are rarer and worth a bit more than internationnal "export" versions (just like Esp.Ra.De) but it's really a collector detail. If you just want to play the game, the export verion is fine. That's probably what I'll buy later, when I'll pay back that $1000 CND on my credit card :lolz:
