I'm currently building a supergun in a case with limited space and am after a psu a bit smaller than average. 6" deep or under would be good.

If anyone knows of anything please let me know.

Cheers

I found a bunch of small un-enclosed PSUs in the Jameco catalog I had been eying up for a similar build.

Like this one here. 5"x3"x0.16"

Probably doesn't help you much though being in Australia, but maybe something along those lines?!?

Yeah something like that would be perfect as long as it had -5v.

Ah, yeah... trickier now with -5V ;)

I'll check again later... I think they had a few with -5 but not sure if they were the small guys or not. I was planning on skipping -5 but I guess I shouldn't take that kind of shortcut.

Thanks for the links Xian Xi.

A unit like you have in your supergun is exactly what I'm looking for, although I'm after one with considerably more wattage. I'd like to be able to power any board I might come across, including 6 slotters.

I'd love to find a small one that could dish out the power for my 6-slotter.
All I can find so far is

It might be a good idea to try and find one that puts out higher voltages at more amps, and then hook in a voltage regulator to get it down to what you need. Basically what Xian Xi did.
