Hey guys was hoping for some help cuz I have never been a whiz at this sort of thing. I have had a 4 slot for quite some time now and have had very little problems with it, just mostly typical certain slots and certain carts dont go together but nothing crazy. Well I went to go turn on my cab the other day and I am only able to read one cart. I press the game select button and it doesn't go through my games, I tried to hook up a different switch, that didn't work. I took a cartridge out of the first slot and it boots up with the cart in the second slot. What I was wondering is if there is some setting in the bios or some switch on the MB that maybe got reset due to a power surge or anything like that. I dont even know if something like that exists but I have no other idea why it would start acting up all of a sudden. Any help at all is greatly appreciated guys.

Check your settings if it's on select on coin or "free". If it's on the coin one you need to add a credit in to cycles through the games.

If its not simply dirty connectors, then sounds like you have a component failure possibly with a 245 IC. You need to take a probe to the board.

Check those switching ICs for heat and/or blistering

Also try swapping out the order of cart insersion

Ok so i messed around with some things, i changed the order of the carts and still no change only read whatever the rightmost cart was. however when i add a credit it allows me to scroll through the games with the select game button. I don't know what this means actually but apparently this is my problem. The other problem is I pressed the test menu button(which I thought brought up the menu to change difficulty or blood, freeplay things like that) and it adds credits into the first player spot. I am running the 2.3 bios and couldn't figure out how to access the other menu besides the menu you get by pressing ABC and start simultaneously. So is this a short somewhere or is there a configuration problem? thanx for your help guys I knew it had been to long since I had to mess around with anything..

If your test button doesn't work, just turn dipswitch 1 to the on position (while the neo is off then power it up after you flip the dip) to access test / setup menu make your changes then flip it off.
